About Us
Mission
We strive to establish a partnership with all enrolled families, suggesting an open and collaborative approach to education. We provide an environment that promotes social, emotional, physical and academic growth of preschool children while allowing for differences so each child may achieve a sense of self-esteem and self-discipline. We do not provide supplementary services but we are willing to collaborate with a parent if deemed necessary for their child to have a fully accredited (parent provided) helper on site.
Vision
We proudly offer exceptional programs that encompasses their social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed, featuring engaging activities such as arts, crafts, phonics, imaginative play and physical exploration. Our primary focus is to ensure the happiness, safety and well-being of each child in our care. We achieve this by providing a nurturing environment where positive attention is lavished upon them, fostering a sense of security and belonging.

Meet The Owner
Shannon believes that some of the most meaningful learning happens through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Over the years, she has thoughtfully developed a kinesthetic and enriched curriculum designed to engage children through movement, discovery, creativity, and hands-on learning while building the skills and confidence they need to be kindergarten ready.
Her passion is creating an environment where children can develop confidence, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning while simply being able to enjoy the magic of childhood.
After decades in early childhood education, Shannon's commitment remains the same: to provide children with a place where they are genuinely known and cared for, and to give families the confidence of knowing their children is in a loving, intentional, and nurturing environment. She is also a member of the Association of Early Learning Leaders and a keynote speaker within the early childhood education community, sharing her experience and passion with others in the industry.
“My Curious Monkeys is more than a childcare program to me. It is a place where children are given the freedom to explore, the encouragement to grow, and the love they need to thrive.” — Shannon S, Owner
